It’s official: Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio is fully recovered from a serious pelvis fracture. Just look at her recent run of winning form on her trusty R5
Emakumeen XXX Bira: 34 seconds behind the leader heading into the fourth and final stage of this Spanish race, Moolman-Pasio attacked the infamous Jaizkibel climb and charged into a lead she would not relinquish. Not only that, her edge on the former overall leader -- 38 seconds -- was enough to vault her to the top of the GC podium.
La Classique Morbihan: Moolman-Pasio made it two wins in a row with a sprint victory at this French one-day race, while Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig cemented her hold on the Women’s WorldTour youth classification on her R5.
Grand Prix of Plumelec-Morbihan: The South African rider completed her perfect weekend by again sprinting to victory, this time in Brittany. “Once again we showed we’re a special group, every girl rides with heart,” Moolman-Pasio said after the win. “That’s why we’re having success, and I am so grateful for all the support I have. To have teammates who believe in you makes all the difference.”
